If you run into errors when developing applications in Compiere stating increase VM size, then you need to add an argument to the eclipse command line when starting eclipse.

The argument is as follows:

Code:
-vmargs -Xmx256M

My full command line looks as follows:

Code:
'/path/to/eclipse/eclipse'  -vmargs -Xmx256M
