Hi everyone,
I wrote a short report regarding the analysis of methods to translate Compiere and ways to learn its business functions.
You may access the report at the following link
http://compiere.red1.org/TranslationGuide.pdf
Comments and ideas are most welcome.
Thank you to Red1 and my friend Andrey for their guidance.

Hi All!!
i welcome all documentation efforts. our method was a little more painful as we have re translated over and over again compiere to suit spanish business terminology.
just one advice. some customers do no fit well the idea o business partners, and want to see customer for sales and vendor for purchases.you then have to translate every individual field, so then DO NOT SYNCHRONISE TERMINOLOGY, AS THAT will override the values in individual fields for the element value.
it happened to us once and almost caused me a fit |
