ok i have done the http://red1.org/barn/medan/tagno_generator.htm to same as required. Just that the Formatter is sitll in different screen. But at least the NextNo appears above. That can be same screen also. Considered as simple assignment for Eddie.
This tagno generator will display all the previosly generated tagnos for that particular job too, so that user knows. Then after generating new ones it will list all generated. |

Now finish the http://red1.org/barn/medan/SerialSetup.htm
Its same to what was defined in Medan. Just that we can see currently assigned Serials too.
Will move on to other screens tomorrow.
About 2 products per mold... Is it what i also done previously where u generate an empty tag and replace it with same tagno as another product order? There we can have different GA-M or Job#
Isnt a mould also identified by its TagNo? |

Tag number is not only referred by molding dept but also furnace. furnace needs tag number to refer to heat number.
Below is the list of the info that I have gone thru with Gan in the 2nd visit.
PPC--generate tag number and to be referred to OC# (OC# has reference to product info, i.e. product code, prod. description, number of qty per mold, and method info).
Molding--create serial# list and to be referred to tag#. require prod info to assign serial to tag.
Furnace--assign heat# to tag. require prod & serial info to verify.
I won't list out the rest of what we went thru like Heat Treatment, NCR (need some touchup), Packing Requirement, and Swapping Requirement. Those are the requirement in the production module.
Production module is in between scheduling stage and delivering stage (including invoicing stage). those stages require some discussion later on after you fully understand what is needed to be done in this production module. If you could refer and glance thru to our Business Process Charts that we provided to you in the beginning of this project, you should have a better understanding of our process. |
