This is the first client i got paid for. Very Happy involving Receipt Print, Cash Drawer and cash change for its cafetaria. Info Schedule, Resource Assignment for its Futsal Courts Bookings. Documentation has case analysis and includes howto modify source codes from Eclipse. Please download it from...

thanks for this maiden response Laughing I will be more productive.

btw about getting Compiere to load up in Eclipse U need both .class and .project files. Thats why I zipped them up into http://compiere.red1.org/eclipsefiles.zip
After unzip, place them in the Compiere-all directory. Modify the .class content in two places to reflect your own directory i.e. <classpathentry sourcepath="/Compiere25e/jboss ... change the /Compiere25e to yours...
Otherwise u can also set classpath from the properties of your Eclipse project. The tutorial http://compiere.red1.org/Callout.zip has screenshots to guide.

cheers!

Hi red1

Your document is really helpful.
I now have less fear to look at the code, since all data are in eclipse now
and i know where to look at.

My client always complain that compiere GUI 's not that friendly. Now by customising the multi-row shown in the line tab, i dun think they can complain any more. I'm not a techie guy and yet following Red1's document, i manage to do this little trick!

I think the next challenge should be showing all lines and header in a single tab.

Thanks Red1.

Hi Red1,

went through the GameType list step-by-step in Callout.pdf. Really helpful.

Two comments (I'm running version 251g):

1 - Table & Column -> Column Tab
System Element is a mandatory field, so it is necessary that you have already created a corresponding System Element before you can save the new record.

2 - Window, Tab & Field -> Field Tab
If using translations, the Column field drop-down list is filled with translated names. So, it is necessary to run a Language Maintenance/Add Missing Translations to create the appropriate translated record in table AD_COLUMN_TRL. Before running the Language Maintenance, the newly created column will simply not show in the drop-down list.

Regards,

Cesar Casado
