Sometimes in PreSales effort, we need to take the prospect ready-made specs and just quickly map it from Compiere.
Here i am showing an example from a prospect. My tactic here is to do it in the shortest time possible so that we can move to the next stage of the project discussion.

Here, the prospect gave me an excel spreadsheet that describes the specs and reqs of their system. Their question is "can this be done by Compiere?"

And our constraint is that many prospects will make us invest much time on making proposals without the certainty of a contract. Thus my strategy is always to use their materials and do a quick gap analysis, so that they become more confident of your skillset without using to much of your time.
