Export accounting schema - elements

Postby mrbarletta » Wed May 04, 2005 11:04 am

Hi to the forum, I would like to share a doubt with you.

I am trying to export my accounting schema, and elements and produce an csv file like the one I used to create the client.

Anybody has any idea how to accomplish this?

Thanks

Hi MRB,

This is one good question.
You could try to export your elements to cvs file by doing next steps:
Go to "Account Element", Tab "Element Value" and push "Report" button, after that push "Export" button and choose cvs file.
You will have file containing row like that:

"Search Key",Element,Name,Description,"Summary Level","Account Type","Post Actual",Sign,"Post Budget","Doc Controlled","Post Statistical","Bank Account","Bank Account","Foreign Currency",Currency,"Valid from","Post Encumbrance","Valid to"

1,"GardenWorld Account",Assets,,true,Asset,true,Natural,true,false,true,false,,false,,,true,

Thanks a lot!.

Worked just fine. Will have to change some data anyway, and fill one missing column (default_account) in order to use it for new clients.

Thanks again
