Using Felix Control Panel

Postby red1 » Thu Feb 07, 2013 3:25 pm

Heng Sin managed to plugin a cool dashboard control panel from Felix, another OSGi container onto our iDempiere Equinox container. This takes over the need of controlling and checking your bundles via the console terminal. Instead you now get a web based GUI panel with rich features.
It is accessible when you run the latest <iDempiere>:<port>/osgi/system/console/bundles. You can control the status of each bundle, search with filters, install new plugins, in short managing everything in your OSGi container from one screen.

Below you can see it in action. At the top of the bundles listing you can see WithHolding Tax bundles just installed. The pop up box has a selection of LiVE HR bundles from my local repository.

You can update your idempiere-server instance with this by running shell script,
or
Windows script.

You also have to apply the latest migration scripts from source.

It asks for a password and username. What's the default and how to change them?

Sorry for forgetting the login which will scroll down from the browser when it runs OK. It is as you said, login: SuperUser, pass:System
