For those looking for where the ADempiere project has gone to can go to http://www.adempiere.net
For those looking for where the community and action has gone to can go to http://www.idempiere.com
For those asking why this landing page can go to viewtopic.php?f=32&t=1824

As you probably know the original project fork of Compiere was later split by irresponsible commercial elements (see http://sourceforge.net/p/adempiere/disc ... /42fffdb3/) that forcefully took over the management starting with removal of its Sourceforge long standing Admin, Red1's account and Carlos Ruiz's shell access.

They then abandoned the reelection process and try to hang on without allowing further mandate from the community. They were forced to do so by concerned members. Then they held the election by censoring new citizens that supports the iDempiere project that ported ADempiere successfully onto the OSGi framework which is proven to be technically superior. They also deleted threads such as this in SourceForge forums that are detrimental to them and kept spreading lies about those they kept away.

The iDempiere project then went its way, and recently won an InfoWorld BOSSIE Award (see http://www.infoworld.com/article/298262 ... tml#slide4). The neo-ADempiere team since then still has not followed its constitution to refresh its mandate which expires every 2 years. According to statistics, it is quite defunct (see http://www.openhub.net/p/adempiere).

[[Community Notice]]

As with all community projects, it must be open to peer review and edit. However in past years wrongful content was put in, distorting its correct history, removing credits of honest contributors and replacing with commercial interests.

Recently we took back this wiki and now restored it as before. We have frozen any changes to it so that the links remain intact as a knowledge base.

Since the ADempiere project code base is properly advanced as the world award winning successful iDempiere, we are not maintaining any releases of Adempiere after 361LTS. Users are given a free upward migration path in iDempiere. Please refer iDempiere forum to ask for any community assistance.

We thank you for your support all this while and hope you prosper in your use of a very good and important project resource - minus the distortion.
