Adempiere POS KeyStroke

Postby edwinallenz » Thu Aug 02, 2012 7:10 am

Hello community,

This time I have some News and a help request.

1. I have made some changes to de POS, that I'll like to share, but want to know how would be the best way to share it, and if is possible add some functions to the Adempiere pos. I leave here a list of the thinks that were added and please, let me know which of these ones are usefull.
  • On Credit order
  • Proposal
  • Include payment and allocation process in POS order
  • Different price list for credit order (This was a specified requirement for my custumer implementation)
  • New business partner
  • Calculate the discount via discount chema, and discount values for product price
  • Description field
  • Convert proposal to POS Order
2. Right know I'm working in creating some keystrokes for the POS. I have no problem with the buttons because of the AppsAction class handles the mnemonics, but I like to have some keystrokes to focus some fields as BP Field (f_name) in, Product field, etc..

Thanks in advance

Good post! We can ask Carlos if you can submit your code as Java diff patch and DB SQL changes in a jira ticket in Probably he would advice you to make this as a OSGi plugin and we should also extract the present JavaPOS into a plugin also so that users can switch to yours or not.
Try to attend our Wednesday #idempiere meetings and you can ask Carlos there for his advice or decision.
