Cost Caculation & Accounting Fact Posting

Postby Derek » Thu Jun 09, 2011 10:30 pm

In ClientAcctProcessor.java

I found the following code:
postSession(); //seems to get cost and create Fact
MCost.create(m_client); //seems to re-calc cost

Why not run MCost.create(m_client) first then run postSession(); ??
Quite confuse

Ok, i wonder if this means, or if it is a business rule that the system must post to accounts first with present Cost Details, and then recalculate new Cost Details after posting for future posting to take from. If so, sounds logical to me. You can't post to accounts during the fact but based on previous facts which are stored in Cost Detail table. (I may be going up the wrong tree as i can't offhand remember the logic i have studied on Costing engine some time ago, so this is just a wild test hunch).
