I have a BOM with the structure as below:
product A001
--by-product A001-01
----part A001-01-01
----part A001-01-02
--by-product A001-02
----part A001-02-01
----part A001-02-02
when I create a MFG Order with product A001, why there are no sub-MFG Order generated for by-product?
Did I misunderstand the multi-level MFG in Adempiere?

Mfg is quite complex and need study to see if all the steps are followed. In your case, i suspect you need to use the WorkFlow to define each sub-parent level production. Try to follow the lessons learnt
here.
