Cost Engine Testing

Postby red1 » Wed Mar 09, 2011 9:25 am

I have done substantial http://www.adempiere.com/index.php/Cost_Engine/Testing and it can be tested live at http://adempiere.warix.my/ (it is a small virtual server so if it goes down please email me to restart it. Next step is to make it automatic in fetching any change in trunk, compile, reapply those tests and send an email on any errors to link to a dashboard. This can be done with Jenkins (a community fork of Hudson).

(The above test server link is under review and may not be up)

Vpj_cd (Victor Perez) has done some recent changes to the Cost-Engine (between Revision 15082 - 15418), so the above Cost_Engine/Testing together with Std Costs tests can be repeated to quickly weed out impact and problems. Previously, Std Costs cannot work at all, and now it seems to be cranking. However the PPV does not seem to be ok yet. FIFO tests still fail as before.

The new Cost Engine still seems to hold (CASE I, Attribute Set, CASE II, Average PO, )
